My Fitness Journey
I started my journey by committing myself to run a half marathon, 13.1 miles, at the end of April. This was a big leap for me because I had never really been a good runner or run more than a couple miles. Well, I trained all the way until a week before the race, let my legs rest, and finished the race in 2 hours and 17 minutes! This time was faster than my goal time of 2 hours and 30 minutes! I felt incredible.
